CloudWave Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification

CloudWave is proud to announce its successful ISO 27001:2022 certification, reinforcing its commitment to robust informatio

CloudWave has officially achieved ISO 27001:2022 certification, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to world-class information security. The certification was awarded by Certification Oceania, following a rigorous and independently assessed two-stage audit process.

ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), ensuring organisations systematically manage and protect sensitive information. For CloudWave, this certification validates the strength of its security practices across cloud contact centre deployments, AI integrations, and data analytics platforms.

CloudWave’s Chief Technology Officer, Dane, led the process and worked closely with Certification Oceania to ensure that every aspect of CloudWave’s security framework met or exceeded the 2022 standard. The lead auditor, Rod Lawrence, praised CloudWave’s audit performance, noting, “Your team is incredibly knowledgeable, and I truly enjoyed working with them. This result is rare—only one minor opportunity for improvement was identified and no corrective actions were required.”

This accomplishment not only underscores CloudWave’s internal commitment to excellence but also provides current and future clients with an added layer of assurance when choosing CloudWave as their cloud communications partner.

Some highlights from the certification process include:

  • A comprehensive Information Security Management System, fully aligned with ISO 27001:2022 principles
  • Seamless cooperation across technical, compliance, and management teams during both audit stages
  • Proactive risk mitigation practices and data protection strategies embedded across CloudWave’s service offerings

Although the certification does not currently carry the JASANZ and IAF logos, Certification Oceania has confirmed that once their accreditation is finalised, CloudWave will receive a re-issued certificate reflecting these additional endorsements.

Dane, CloudWave’s CTO, commented on the milestone: “Achieving ISO 27001:2022 is a proud moment for our entire team. This certification validates the discipline and care we bring to every engagement. Our clients trust us with critical infrastructure and sensitive customer data, and this achievement reaffirms our commitment to protecting both.”

CloudWave looks forward to continuing its journey of security excellence and working alongside Certification Oceania in future surveillance audits. This certification is just one step in CloudWave’s broader mission to deliver secure, innovative, and scalable technology solutions for businesses across industries.
